The database
This release of
the Fatty Acid Compositional Database contains fatty acid data
for over 1000 Australian foods. The data includes 11 saturated
fatty acids, 7 mono-unsaturated fatty acids, 10 poly-unsaturated
fatty acids and 3 trans-fatty acids.
The NUTTAB 95 Fatty Acid Supplement provided
values to one decimal place. The Fatty Acid Compositional Database
data provides values to two decimal places.
This data is provided at no cost to users of
the SERVE software.
Limitations
This database contains faty acid composition data
on foods analysed by a range of research groups across Australia,
The foods analysed band recorded were specifically relevant to
studies being carried out by those researchers. Hence the foods
and their composition data do not match those in NUTTAB and AUSNUT.
This makes it necessary to re-enter data to obtain a complete
profile in NUTTAB95.

file. Once the unzip is complete close and exit the self extract window.
3. Run SERVE.
Click on the Start button, select Programs, then select
