Self_SERVE is now available with the latest Australian
nutrition database AUSNUT.
AUSNUT contains over 4500 foods, with 31 nutrients, including Folate
and uses many of the common brand names.
The Ausnut database is an alternative to using the NUTTAB
database which has 1800 foods. the two databases have different nutrient
values (eg. AUSNUT has folate NUTTAB does not. The databases are incompatible,
and are provided with SERVE as alternative databases to use. Note that
we have been advised that there are no plans to update NUTTAB this year
(latest version is NUTTAB95), and no plans to update AUSNUT at all.
