Important Notes and instructions:

There are three steps: 1. Download, 2. Extract and 3. Update...

1. Download

You need to have SERVE version 3.99 or later installed to implement this download. Click on the file NA_VALS.EXE to start the download. Choose the option to save the file to disk and click OK. When the "save as" window is displayed, select the directory in which you installed SERVE (usually this is on your C: drive, under the program files directory, in the SERVE directory). The file download should only take a couple of minutes, depending on Internet load and modem speed.

2. Extract

Once the download is complete, use Windows Explorer to locate and double click the NA_VALS.EXE application file you have just downloaded (eg. in C:\program files\SERVE directory). The self extract window will be displayed. Click browse to locate your SERVE directory (eg. in C:\program files\SERVE directory). Then click "unzip" to extract the sodium files. Once the unzip is complete close and exit the self extract window.

Make sure SERVE is not running before proceeding to the next step.

3. Update

Using Windows Explorer again, double click the Sodium application (with the watermelon slice icon) in your SERVE directory. Click "Load sodium values" and then click "I accept". Sodium values will be loaded into your AUSNUT database file. Any existing sodium values will be updated. When completed close and exit this application. You can now run SERVE again and use the new sodium values.
